Terms and Conditions - Sol Raiders

The Sol Raiders Tournament promotion (Promotion) is subject to the following terms and conditions: 

Promoter

The Promoter is Zero Latency Pty Ltd, ABN 71 168 651 885, (Zero Latency) 5 Harper Street, Abbotsford VIC 3067. 

Terms and Conditions of Entry

Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry. By purchasing tickets to the tournament (Entry) at participating venues during the promotional period, the entrants accept these Terms and Conditions of entry. 

Who can enter?

The Promotion is governed by the laws of the states of Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, Australia. Participating venues are Zero Latency North Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Entry is open to all eligible participants. Any winner under the age of 13 will be managed via a parent or legal guardian. Employees (past or present) of Zero Latency, associated companies and agencies, are not eligible to enter. Any eligible entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process will be ineligible to win. Players must also comply with regular booking terms, available here.

How to enter?

Semi Final 

Eligible entrants must purchase tickets for a participating Zero Latency venue to play in the Sol Raiders Tournament (Tournament) on 4th May 2023 (Melbourne) or 17th May 2023 (Sydney & Brisbane) to enter. Each venue tournament consists of 4 teams of up to 4 players. Customers can book 4 tickets to form their own team or contact the venue for help to join a team where available. Teams with fewer than 4 players may be combined with anther team at the venue's discretion. Each team will play 2 games of Sol Raiders as part of the Tournament. A game of Sol Raiders consists of 3 rounds and is won by getting the highest objective point score in 2 or more rounds. The winning team by knock out will win a shared $500 cash prize and will be invited to attend a grand final Sol Raiders Tournament in North Melbourne.

If the winning team is unable to attend the grand final, the invite will be extended to the runner up team.

Grand Final 

Semi Final winning teams from participating Zero Latency venues will be invited to play in the Sol Raiders Tournament Final (Final) currently scheduled for 19th June 2023 (Promo Period) subject to change. The Final consists of 4 teams of up to 4 players. Each team will play 2 games of Sol Raiders as part of the Final. A game of Sol Raiders consists of 3 rounds and is won by getting the highest objective point score in 2 or more rounds. The winning team by knock out will win another shared $500 cash prize.

The date and time of the Final may be changed at the discretion of Zero Latency, depending on player availability. 

Prize Pool

Total minimum promotional prize pool value is $2,000, consisting of 3 x $500 shared team cash prizes for the semi final Tournament and 1 x $500 shared team cash prize for the Grand Final. Cash prizes will be split between team members and supplied as Visa Gift Cards. 

Additional prizes may be added to the Tournament or Final prize pool at the discretion of Zero Latency.

In addition, Tournament winners from Zero Latency Brisbane and Sydney, will receive flights and accommodation based on lowest price availability at the time of booking, up to $3,040 (based on $150 x 1 night accommodation, $260 x Brisbane return flight and $200 x Sydney return flight). Value of flights and accommodation may change based on availability at the time of booking, at the discretion of Zero Latency.

The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. Prizes cannot be re-sold.

Judging the entries

Winners are determined by Sol Raiders game results, per How to Enter details above.

Eligible Entries

By Entering this Promotion, the entrant warrants that it has the power and capacity to agree to these terms and conditions of entry. 

Contacting final recipient

The prize recipients will be announced on the night of the Semi Final Tournament and Grand Final. Cash prizes will be provided as Visa Gift Cards given within 7 days, either by email or physical card, depending on the winners' preferences.

Winner announcements will also be published on the Zero Latency social media channels. 

Personal Information

The recipient acknowledges that it provides certain information via the Entry, to be used by Zero Latency for future promotional purposes. However, an Individual's full personal information cannot be disclosed publicly without the individual's consent. Personal information will be handled according to the Zero Latency Privacy Policy which can be viewed here

Acknowledging and promoting success

Successful recipients acknowledge and agree that Zero Latency will publish the details of the successful recipient including (but not limited to) their first name, social media handle, photographs or videos, in Zero Latency’s marketing material or reports, including (but not limited to) social media content, Zero Latency websites, brochures or printed collateral. 

Promoter's rights reserved

The Promoter reserves the right to exercise its absolute discretion in excluding entries that it considers to be offensive or contrary to law. 

General release

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from an eligible entrant winning a prize in the Promotion. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, lost revenue or profit) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion or accepting or using a Prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize offered in the Promotion. If, for any reason whatsoever, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure, natural disaster, pandemic or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves its right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, subject to State and Territory regulations.
