Vodafone And Zero Latency Take Virtual Reality To 5G

Vodafone announced the launch of their 5G network in Spain, becoming one of the first operators to provide 5G services in the European market.

The launch event held in Madrid on 10th June 2019 featured a Zero Latency VR experience powered by the Vodafone 5G network.

"When a company as forward thinking as Vodafone using such a new technology wants to showcase the future of entertainment, they come to Zero Latency first" says Zero Latency CEO Tim Ruse.

Attendees to the press event were treated to a game of 'Sol Raiders', the VR Esports title released by Zero Latency earlier this year.

This event saw the debut of a portable version of the Gen 2 Zero Latency VR System. VR headsets were provided on the day by HP, one of the three tech giants Zero Latency partnered with for the development of the new system.
