Tomorrow Entertainment Doubles Down on Zero Latency VR with Second Arena in Macau

Macau’s Galaxy Casino features the 19th arena in the world powered by Zero Latency’s industry leading free-roam VR technology

MELBOURNE – July 2, 2018 – Tomorrow Entertainment has once again partnered with Zero Latency, the irrefutable world leader in location-based, free-roam, multiplayer virtual reality entertainment, to open its second epic scale Zero Latency arena in Macau. The Macau location opened on June 29 at the Galaxy Casino and joins an arena that opened in Singapore in 2017.

“We’re excited that Tomorrow Entertainment have chosen to extend their virtual reality presence with a second Zero Latency venue. Visitors to Macau are looking for the latest and greatest. Zero latency is a perfect fit for the market given the region’s hunger for new technology and entertainment”, says Zero Latency CEO Tim Ruse.

The Macau arena provides 200 square metres of floor space for up to eight players to band together for the most immersive free-roam VR games possible.
“Our Zero Latency free-roam VR attraction is an exciting development for visitors to Macau who are known for their love of quality entertainment. It follows the successful opening of our first Zero Latency venue in Singapore last year. It’s the perfect fit for the fast-paced and social Macau market”, said Simon Ogilvie, Executive Director, Tomorrow Entertainment.

As in all Zero Latency venues, the Macau arena has no internal physical walls, which allows teams to freely roam, walk, explore, and fight together through wildly different virtual terrains. Players see each other as full-motion avatars and stay in constant communication to strategise, call for help, warn their teammates, or banter together.

Players stay in contact with each other through Razer integrated headphone and microphone units and are outfitted with OSVR HDK2 virtual reality headsets while wearing a military-grade backpack containing a high-performance Alienware PC gaming computer. They also carry a perfectly weighted, custom-made, simulated weapon that comes in handy when facing down a zombie apocalypse or murderous squads of robots or rogue drones. Every playthrough is a unique experience with success measured by both a personal score and a team score.
